Project/Plan of Finance Details/Notes: On February 19, 2025, the Authority held a public hearing regarding the proposed issuance of its revenue bonds as tax-exempt qualified 501(c)(3) bonds as defined in Section 145 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (the “Code”), in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $30,000,000 (the “Bonds”) for the purpose of providing funds to make a loan to the Borrower, a Missouri nonprofit corporation to (a) finance and refinance certain educational facilities and related capital expenditures located on the Borrower’s campus at 650 Maryville Drive, St. Louis, Missouri 63141, (b) fund bond reserves, if any, and (c) pay the costs of issuance of the Bonds. On May 1, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., the Authority will hold a public hearing at its office (address above) regarding the Borrower’s intention to use a portion of the proceeds of the Bonds loaned to the Borrower in an amount not to exceed $5,000,000 to reimburse the Borrower for or pay the costs of capital projects on and improvements to the Maryville University Hockey Center located at 18383 Chesterfield Airport Rd, Chesterfield, MO 63005. The Maryville University Hockey Center is owned by Chesterfield Hockey Association, a nonprofit corporation, and leased to the Borrower. The Borrower will agree to make loan payments sufficient to pay principal and interest and redemption premium, if any, on the Bonds as the same fall due.
